Match Report Indus-I vs Spartan 07/11/2010

Indus dominated the proceedings from the minute the game started, even after some dropped catches we were able to bundle them under 100 is a sign of complete domination of all bowlers . Quick bowlers, spin bowlers, medium fast all stuck  to the line ,  field and plan .   There were 20 + chances which shows the line , length and bowling to the field for bowlers.

wrt to dropped catches , 2 fell in between fielders, 2 were sharp caught and bowled chances , 1 was very sharp slip chance, 1 was a skier high into the sun which leaves me with couple of catches which can be classfied as real drops. And i am not worried about it since our catching has been good this season . I like the fact that we are setting high standard at the same time we should applaud the 8 catches we took some of them where of the highest standard.

I like the dedication which we show towards our catching during fielding practice led by praveen and quite justifiably he is leading the way in catching in all the fielding positions . Both teams should leverage his experience and  technique in practice sessions.  we have good chances of improving using in house experince before we look somewhere outside

Lets focus on next game , WE ARE AS GOOD AS OUR LAST GAME , NEXT GAME IS NEW GAME AND EVERYONE STARTS FROM ZERO .

see you all at practice :)

Hi All,

Indus I beat Spartans by 10 wickets. The scores stand thus:

Spartans batting first scored 97 in 31.2 overs. Sunny 4.1 overs, 1 maiden and 5 wickets, Vijay - 2 wickets, Kalyan - 2 wickets and Pranay 1 wicket.
Indus I in reply scored 98 in 17.1 overs with no wickets lost. Praveen Koka - 41 and Satish G - 48.

We did drop a lot of catches today and some of them were sitters, but they did not capitalize on the dropped chances and were bent upon giving more catches which we did not miss.

Cheers

Pravin
